So we are a little behind in posting, but I am trying to catch up with the Blog. After the girls went to bed on Christmas Eve, they could hardly sleep... we told them to follow Alex's tradition of getting the things from their stockings first, then waiting until we got up to open gifts. I figured 7:30 am was reasonable, so at 7:30 I got up and heard them downstairs. We went down and found out they had just gotten up! So they opened their presents. It was interesting to observe them. Sucena was very quiet, the rest of the girls were happy, but not overly. Milena was happy she got a computer for her to work on her school work. A computer mostly for her, since more people would probably use it. After a while Sucena started to talk more, I stayed up and helped them with their toys. Sucena and I made some stuff with her Easy Oven. I had the feeling there was something more she wanted that she did not get, later she said, I almost got everything I wanted, but I did not get my cat. She wanted a cat that 'breathed'. I tried to find the cat a couple of nights before Christmas and could not find it anymore. We had only seen it once. Anyway, if anybody out there knows about a cat that 'breathes' please let us know.
Alex went back to sleep but I did not, we packed our stuff and headed to Milwaukee. Where the girls received more gifts from family. They were a little overwhelmed there, but happy. We went with Greg and Otin to see lights in Milwaukee Parks. We would have loved it a little warmer. Oh well, it's December in Wisconsin. We stayed overnight at Sis and Andy's house. Unfortunately we had a tantrum at the end of the night. I guess it was probably a little overwhelming for some people. The girls are learning to share and compromise. At times this could be a problem, and things can get a little too much. We are learning to be patient.... )
Here are some pictures of the day...
is this what you are looking for, Mercedes? (the stuffed cat that breathes-- I have seen the dog ones, but didn't know about cat ones)
