Just a quick update. Milena got Shin Splints this week and was not able to finish her soccer season healthy. She needs to learn how to stretch better, but has been in pain lately so she has been given the OK to take it easy for a week during gym class. We are still trying to figure out how to best transport the girls to their schools. The distance from school for the younger two is stressing me out and I do not feel involved in their education there.
I never thought that they would not attend the school I requested. Alex and I have been talking about whether or not we will have to make difficult decisions this year. This is just a trial period in terms of the school and living situation. We will see how things go in the spring, and see what options we have.
The girls are healthy as we approach colder weather. All sports are over for now, we are in between sports and still looking for dance classes for Yesica and Sucena. Money is tight and need to get resourceful.
We are still recovering from our expenses in Colombia, and we have a few extra expenses now.
Anyway, we are still doing homework every night and are still overwhelmed by it.
Milena and Mirellen went to see my dad on Saturday at the hospital. He is doing better and might be out of ICU soon. This Sunday is Trick or Treat so I should have pictures. I will post those next week.
So glad to hear your dad is doing better. Life sounds busy with the girls. I can only imagine how life will change when we get our children. I wish I knew of a good dance place for the girls, I will ask a few of my friends who live in Madison if they know of anything, and as far as school goes, it sounds like a tough one. I already talk to Brian about our school options, and just am unsure as to where to send the kiddos. I will pray for your family that good decisions can be made.
